Tesla has cancelled three separate hiring events in China according to Reuters . The hiring events were for positions in sales, R&D and a supply chain position, scheduled for June 16, 23 and 30, as detailed on WeChat on Thursday evening. Tesla CEO Elon Musk had previously stated in an email the company would but cutting salaried staff, but increasing hires of hourly workers. He didn’t mention China specifically in his communications.
