Taiwan alone supplies 64 percent of the world’s chips, with Taiwan’s Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) accounting for more than half of it, according to reports from various agencies. Experts say that if China’s attack on Taiwan increases, then the production of many items like washing machines, fridges along with many electronic items like cars to smartphones, laptops will be affected because all these use chips.
