The plaintiff says IBM used "Shen Ji" and "Shen Ji Miao Suan" (meaning "wonderful foresight") in publicizing IBM software products in China. But Shanghai Shenji Computer Software Company says they own the trademarks and they have asked IBM to make a public apology.

In addition, they have asked IBM to pay CNY500000 as compensation.

The case has not concluded and is currently under review in Beijing's Chaoyang People's Court.
