The Chinese WAPI Delegation has returned from Geneva, where at the headquarters of the International Organization for Standardization it took part in a meeting with a group promoting IEEE 802.11i.
Though the decisions made at that meeting can not yet be publicly announced, the Chinese delegation says they are satisified with the results.
According to a member of the delegation quoted in local Chinese media, though the decision is generally fair, this is not a final resolution and it will still take work and effort to formulate cohesive policies within an accepted framework.
