Guangzhou Quality Control Department has confiscated 600 fake mobile phones during an inspection on the Dashatou Mobile Phone market.
On October 15, Guangzhou Quality Control Department sent over 10 executives to conduct a check on the rental outlets near Guangdong Broadcasting and Television Industry Company and the mobile phone markets nearby. The executives found three of the stores there were publicly selling counterfeit mobile phones. They confiscated 600 fake phones in total, each of which was sold at about CNY400.
Local media reports that these mobile phones were put together by manufacturers without a valid business license.
