Chinese companies seeking support on mobile and embedded 3D systems have a new company to rely on as Finland-based Futuremark Corporation has opened operations in Shanghai.
Futuremark's immediate plans in China will be looking for new customers for Kanzi, its recently announced graphics engine that allows manufacturers to add visually stunning 3D user interfaces to mobile phones, automotive display systems and other embedded devices.
"We're seeing increasing customer demand from China and responding with the establishment of a new sales office in the region to complement our presence in Europe and North America," stated Tero Sarkkinen, CEO of Futuremark. "We are excited to be working closely with our customers in China to provide the technology for advanced 3D graphical user interfaces for cell phones, cars and other embedded applications."
