China's Sohu.com Announces New Management Team

Chinese Internet portal Sohu.com has announced several new appointments and published the list of its new management team.
According to the board of directors of the company, Wang Xin, former joint president and chief marketing officer of Sohu.com, is promoted to joint president and chief operating officer; Wang Xiaochuan, former senior vice president, is promoted to chief technology officer; and Zhou Lin is promoted to vice president of technology.
Other members of Sohu.com's executive team include Charles Zhang, founder, chairman of the board and chief executive officer; Yu Chuyuan, joint president and chief finance officer; Chen Luming, vice president; Fang Gang, vice president; and Wang Tao, vice president.
Prior to this, Sohu.com announced plans to invest CNY750 million to build a new headquarters building in Beijing. Covering an area of 40,000 square meters, this new building is expected to start construction in the first half of 2010 and will be completed by the end of 2012. The specific location of this building is currently not available.
