Taiwanese Networking Equipment Provider To Establish Mobile Phone Base In Zhengzhou

Taiwanese networking equipment giant AboCom System Inc. has announced in Zhengzhou, Henan, that it will invest CNY2 billion to establish a 3G mobile phone technology industry base in the city.
Eric Ouyang, chairman of AboCom, revealed that the company signed an agreement with Zhengzhou High & New Technology Industries Development Zone for the establishment of the mobile phone base. With total investment of CNY2 billion, including an initial investment of CNY200 million, the new base will have an area of 123 mu, covering a research and development center, a manufacturing center, a marketing center, a logistic center, staff dormitories, and a staff center.
The construction of the base will be divided into two parties: for the first phase, the company will achieve the annual manufacturing scale of five million mobile phones and an output of CNY5 billion within the next three years; and for the second phase, the company plans to build a 100,000-square-meter comprehensive base, integrating mobile phone development, product display, and sales.
