Rockwell FirstPoint Contact Corp, a business of Rockwell Automation, announced its intention today to enhance its penetration of the Chinese market by introducing a full range of services.

The company plans to provide complete customer interaction solutions supporting a variety of channels including voice, e-mail, online, wireless and VoIP utilizing a unique open interaction infrastructure.

The company, which is set to unveil a new office in Shanghai this month, began its penetration into China when it struck a co-operation agreement with Digital China in 2002. Meanwhile, it also inked a co-operation agreement with Proactive and Beijing Teletrom Company.

To enlarge their shares in the Chinese market, Rocklwell intends to invest to educate the market–currently, most call and contact centers in China only serve the industry's contact needs.
