Editorial Staff

Though it had not formally begun to provide TD-SCDMA service, China Mobile has already opened a number of TD Experience Halls in major cities like Beijing and Shanghai for users to experience the convenience of this new wireless service.

In addition to bringing new experience to users, China Mobile's TD Experience Halls also display many types of TD mobile phones, service introductions and related service counter introductions, all of which tell people that the trial operation of TD is not far away.

With the approach of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, the industry's expectations on the commercial use of TD-SCDMA is increasing. China Mobile's TD-SCDMA network in the eight Olympic cities has prepared for operation and the company will put them into trial operation in later February or early March.
