According to local media, Lan Ye, former vice president of Lenovo Group (LNVGY) and executive vice president of Lenovo Mobile, has resigned his positions and will be president of Founder Technology Group.

In June 2008, former president of Founder Technology Group Qi Dongfeng left his position for personal reasons and the post is currently occupied by Fang Zhonghua, chairman of the board of directors of Founder.

A representative from Lenovo says that Lan quit for personal reasons and he completed the handover of his work in Lenovo on August 31, 2008. His position will be taken over by Xiang Zheng, a manager in charge of the major client business of Lenovo. The company says that Lenovo has a mature business operating system, so its businesses will not be affected by the departure of a single person.

Assigned as executive vice president of Lenovo Mobile in January 2008, Lan was mainly in charge of the sales of mobile phones and customer services. However, less than one month later, Lenovo announced plans to sell the entire stake of Lenovo Mobile for USD100 million.
