Dell, the world's largest PC maker, has recently announced its plans to triple sales in China to US$6 billion within the next few years, having earned $2.1 billion in revenues in China in 2002 – 6% of the company's global sales.

The company plans to nearly double sales in the coming years, relying on the tremendous growth potential in China to achieve the target.
