Vernier Networks, Inc., a leader in secure managed access for the enterprise wireless LAN, recently announced the expansion of its marketing and sales reach in Asia through partnerships with leading in-country VARs.

The company has established distribution and reseller agreements with Power Express to service China and Macau; Eprogistics Limited to support China and Hong Kong; and Convergence Networks for coverage in Malaysia.

These agreements complement Vernier's already established relationships with other channel partners in the Americas, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. According to Synergy Research Group, enterprise WLAN vendor revenue in Asia in Q3 of this year grew 19 percent over Q3 of 2002, and 76 percent over Q3 of 2001.

At the core of the wireless LAN, the Vernier Network System provides key services including fine-grained access control, centralized management, and seamless roaming that enable companies to deploy and manage 802.11 networks ranging from 10s to 1,000s of access points.
