Yangtze Telecom Starts Offering SMS Services in Guangdong and Liaoning Provinces

Yangtze Telecom has commenced offering SMS services, including the Company's unique SMS Domain Name Registration, to China Unicom's mobile phone users in the provinces of Guangdong and Liaoning. Currently Guangdong Mobile has fifteen million mobile subscribers and Liaoning Unicom has approximately four million mobile subscribers.

Emily Chen, Yangtze Telecom's President commented, "With commencement of commercial services in two additional provinces, we have realized our goal of offering SMS services to mobile subscribers in five provinces and/or regions (Wuhan, Chongqing, Guangdong, Liaoning and Shanghai) in China by the end of 2003. This expansion will allow us to further increase our growth in revenues."
