LTX Corporation, a supplier of semiconductor test solutions, today announced that it has appointed ZMC Technologies, Pte. Ltd., a provider of sales, certified training, software solutions and maintenance services, for equipment to the semiconductor industry, as its representative in China.

Through this alliance, ZMC will provide sales and service support for LTX customers from its multiple locations in China including Shanghai, Beijing and Shenzen. ZMC's semiconductor equipment expertise, solid infrastructure and established team of sales and service professionals led LTX to select ZMC as its China representative. According to China's Ministry of Information Industry, the expanding China market will represent up to one-third of the global electronics industry by 2005. IC consumption is also expected to continue its strong year-on-year growth of around 30% over the next two years, note reports from the recently concluded International IC-China Conference and Exhibition.
