UEFA, seeking to capitalize on the appeal that European football already has in Asia, have launched uefa.com in China with a Chinese partner.

This will now enable Chinese subscribers to see highlights of matches on the Internet and mobile phones. Since the Chinese website was launched the traffic has increased by 15%. For Euro 2004, subscribers will see highlights of the matches within 10 minutes of the end of each game.
