HP Launches New Products In Shanghai

September 21, 2004
Gadgets & Electronics

On September 15 and 16, HP launched forty different electronic products in Shanghai during a single event–in contrast to the company's usual practice of introducing products individually.

This is the biggest move the company has ever made in promoting its Autumn products in the Asia-Pacific region. During the launch, more than 120 journalists from across Asia were given the opportunity to use a range of HP's new products, including ultra-wide digital cameras, multi-media PCs, instant cinema digital projectors, entertainment based lap top computers, etc.

A change from its usual strategy, on this occasion HP paid most attention to its overall product strategy and consumption means, rather than emphasizing one particular product.
