TriQuint Semiconductor, Inc. (Nasdaq: TQNT) today announced the opening of its Shanghai, China Sales and Applications Center: TriQuint (Shanghai) Trading Company.

This full-service center will provide support to TriQuint customers in mainland China and Hong Kong. Functions available through the Shanghai office include sales, customer service, technical support and field applications engineering for all TriQuint products.

All TriQuint operations and products including optoelectronics, wireless, microwave/millimeter-wave and SAW-based products will have sales and applications support from the new Shanghai office. Design and manufacturing customers in the wireless handset and base station RF front-end markets will particularly benefit from the wide selection of GaAs and SAW front-end modules, filters, switches and components designed, produced and now technically supported locally by TriQuint.
