China Netcom and China Railcom have each launched their own "All-in-One Number" services in Beijing.

The "All-in-One Number" is actually a virtual number in whose package contains many different telephone numbers including fixed phone numbers, Little Smart numbers, and mobile phone numbers. The service enables transfer between lines when one line is busy.

Local media reports China Netcom's service is able to basically only handle call transfers. While China Railcom's is more comprehensive because it includes other functions like fax, leaving message, email, short messaging, and PIN protection.
