Ericsson's New China Headquarters Opened

Ericsson's new home in Beijing at the Ericsson Building has opened to serve as the operational heart of Ericsson in China and also house the new location for Ericsson's China Research Institute.

To express his appreciation for the good trade relations between China and Sweden as well as his support for Ericsson's development in China, Swedish King Carl XVI Gustaf came to the opening site and addressed the opening ceremony.

Ma Zhihong, CEO of Ericsson Greater China Region, said that China is not only one of the most important markets for Ericsson, it has also become one of the three major development centers for Ericsson in the world.

Ma said that the new Ericsson Building will be a new start for Ericsson's development in China where it will continue to carry out its "Core China" strategy and meet new challenges by joining hands with Chinese partners.
