Matsushita Electric has begun distributing the Panasonic Strada CN-D100H, a DVD car navigation system, in China. This is the first Panasonic car navigation system that has been launched in China.

Using a DVD disc map that covers four major municipalities of Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, and Chongqing as well as 16 provinces, the CN-D100H provides greater convenience to drivers. It features the bilingual voice guidance that supports standard Mandarin and Cantonese, the most common dialect.

When used with the CQ-VD7001H monitor, the system can display full-color and detailed maps. The system works with any car monitor with an RCA connector.

The CN-D100H is expected to retail for CNY12000. The company plans to manufacture 1000 units monthly.
