Comtech Lands ZTE Purchase Order

Comtech (COGO) has obtained new electronics purchase orders from ZTE worth approximately US$5.3 million, which is expected to be realized over the remainder of 2005.

ZTE was Comtech's largest customer in 2004, generating revenue of US$10 million and representing approximately 13% of Comtech's total revenue in 2004.

"ZTE's strong export business in 2005 as well as our new design solutions for new product lines have contributed to the growth in our business with ZTE," said Jeffrey Kang, Comtech's chairman and chief executive officer.

Comtech is a module design solutions provider in China focused on the mobile handset, telecom equipment and consumer electronics industries.
