51job.com (JOBS) has announced its market entry into the Chinese cities of Suzhou and Fuzhou.

These two additions will increase the number of cities with local editions of Career Post Weekly to 22 across mainland China. Along with its entry into Changchun in February, the Company will have entered into three new markets in 2005.

Located close to Shanghai in nearby Jiangsu province, Suzhou had an urban population of approximately 2.2 million in 2004 according to the Statistics Information of Suzhou. 51job's exclusive newspaper contractor in Suzhou is Modern Express. The first local edition of Career Post Weekly was published on June 9, 2005 in Suzhou.

Fuzhou marks 51job's first sales office in Fujian province. Located in southern China, Fuzhou is the capital of Fujian province with an urban population of approximately 2.4 million in 2004 according to the Fuzhou Bureau of Statistics. Working exclusively with newspaper contractor Straits Talent News, the Company expects to launch a local edition of Career Post Weekly in Fuzhou in early July.
