Shanda (SNDA) and PRCDirect have announced the signing of a service agreement between the two companies.

Under the agreement, Shanda will use PRCDirect's Electronic Program Guide data feed service to support its new home entertainment center products in China. Shanda's new home entertainment set-top boxes allow gamers to use TV sets to interact with thousands of others and enjoy interactive entertainment content in the comfort of their living rooms.

The box will also enable users to search and discover TV programming using data from PRCDirect's data feed services.

PRCDirect is the leading provider of EPG (electronic program guide) and ECG (electronic cinema guide) data feed and viewer data services to China's Internet, broadcast and communications industries.
