Datang Telecom Technology Industry Group this week formally signed a strategic cooperation and financial consulting agreement with Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC).

Under the agreement, ICBC will provide financial consulting services for Datang's backbone services and offer financial support to Datang and each of its affiliates.

Datang is regarded as a pioneer in China's communications industry for its strong development and innovation capacity. It has made remarkable achievements in the communication field, particularly in 3G communications.

It is expected this cooperation will help Datang further promote its development of mainstay business including TD-SCDMA.
