21CN.com has confirmed that it has completely overhauled its free email service and has expanded individual users' capacity to 10 gigabytes, about 100 times larger than the previous size.

The upgrade of email capacity involves both current and new users and will be quickly rolled-out to all accounts over the coming weeks.

Competing free email services from Google provide about 2.5 gigabytes of free email space.
