Since September 28, the Information Office of the State Council, the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Information Industry have been working on identifying and terminating pornography activities active on China's online chatting systems.

The trio are currently investigating 1568 cases and 101 people have been arrested.

For the next step, local security departments will focus on policing online chatting rooms and punish website operators who are accomodating illegal chatroom activities.
