CipherTrust says Tom Chin has joined CipherTrust as its new vice president and general manager of the Asia Pacific territory.

In December 2004, CipherTrust launched its Asia Pacific division, headquartered in Hong Kong. Since the launch, CipherTrust has continued to aggressively expand its international operations to meet the global demands of its customers and today has a local presence in the Asia Pacific region in Beijing, Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo.

A former Network Appliance executive and 20-year technology and sales veteran, Chin will lead all sales and operations in the region to support CipherTrust's rapidly growing customer and partner base throughout the Asia Pacific.
