30 Shenzhen Enterprises Working On MP4 Standards

More than 30 MP4 suppliers and manufacturers, have set up a 3C Alliance Portable Media Player (PMP) Commission in Shenzhen.

PMP wants to assist the local government in making an MP4 standard in the coming months.

The new standard is scheduled to come out in June and is expected to help maintain the competition within the MP4 market in China.

China's MP4 market increased by as much as 300% last year. It is predicted in local media that the MP4 market value will reach CNY10 billion in the next few years.
