Tian Jian, executive general manager of Yahoo (YHOO) China's search division has told local media that Yahoo China's integration with Alibaba had proceeded much faster than expected and his task for this year is to increase the market share by 200%, as compared to the average increase of 40%.
Tian says that in the coming six months, the company will focus on creating its image as the top search and lifestyle brand in China.
Tian also says that the company will incorporate such services as instant communications, enterprise email and online payments into its search services.
