Sohu.com (SOHU) has entered into a multi-year advertising agreement with Chinese online retailer, Joyo.com.

Under the contract, Sohu will place Joyo.com advertisements throughout certain Sohu.com web sites. Customers that click through the Joyo advertisements will be taken to the Joyo.com site. The launch date for the service is June 20, 2006.

As Sohu previously reported, it will discontinue its own e-commerce platform of physical consumer goods on June 20, 2006.

Additional terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Joyo.com also offers COD delivery to more than 180 Chinese cities, and free shipping on qualifying orders over CNY99.
