99Bill Partners With ICBC For New Online Payment Platform

99Bill has reached a cooperative agreement with Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) to provide phone-based payment services for Internet users, both individuals and businesses.

As part of the partnership, 99bill will activate phone-based payment services, and to complete a transaction, users will only need to access ICBC's 95588 certified with an integration code. This makes it possible for users to make purchases and handle payment without logging on to the Internet thus bringing in a much larger customer base and expanding usability.

Oliver Kwan, CEO of 99Bill said, "As the largest and the most rapidly growing vendor for 3rd party independent online payment solutions, 99bill has achieved over 5 million users in the short period of time, demonstrating our leadership in providing innovative services. With the in-depth cooperation, 99bill now launched phone-based service, another innovative offering designed to increase customer base as well as enhancing user experience."

Based on the agreement, 99bill is expected to experience potential growth opportunities with its value-added services to be interacted with a wide range of ICBC's business segments. Both parties will be able to capitalize on the cooperation by leveraging capabilities and expertise from both sides, and furthermore, to engage in further combined business opportunities possible.
