The Third Motorola (MOT) China Technology Symposium finishes today and has already showcased a number of achievements in handsets, infrastructure, and wireless value-added services developed by Motorola China engineers and its local partners.
During the two-day symposium, held from July 10 to 11 and organized by Motorola China R&D Institute, Motorola has demonstrated state-of-the-art technologies in software, hardware design and simulation, applications, end to end solutions, embedded platforms, human interface, environmental friendly material and advanced testing.
"This annual symposium is the Technology show of Motorola China. Researchers and engineers from Motorola and our partners come to show how their innovative technologies can improve our products, user experiences and our life," said Ruey Bin Kao, president of Motorola (China) Electronics Ltd.
At the symposium, 66 Motorola innovators have been recognized for patents filed in 2005. Due to the efforts of Motorola leadership and creative employees, Motorola has sets up the leading R&D facility in China among foreign investors. Today, Motorola has 16 R&D centers in six cities and more than 2,500 research staff.
