Guizhou Telecom has recently released two memos that stipulate how it will better manage and assess its executive staff.
The memos say that the annual assessment results of telecom officials will be divided into four categories based on their performance and behavior during the year. Those officials who rate as "unqualified" in these assessments for two consecutive years will be asked to resign.
In addition, officials who have brought serious economic loss or bad effects to the company due to their negligence will be asked to submit a resignation letter and leave their position after the approval of the company.
Finally, the officials' salaries, including general managers, their assistants, and marketing directors, will be directly linked with their performance.
