Mobile messaging firm Mobile 365 says both China Mobile and NTT DoCoMo have chosen it to provide International Short Message Service (ISMS), broadening their reach to the world.

The partnership expands Mobile 365's North Asia connectivity across China, Japan, and South Korea.

"Asia continues to be an important market for Mobile 365, and these agreements prove that we remain the first choice for Asian operators seeking both global and cross-technology messaging connectivity," said Matthew Talbot, Mobile 365 Vice President for Asia. "Asian mobile subscribers continue to be the leading message texters in the world, and these new operator agreements ensure their global leadership by offering customers the best direct-connect reach¡ªpossible only through Mobile 365's industry-leading network."

These new agreements contribute to Mobile 365's global footprint of more than 250 direct connections with operators via an IP and C7 network, with reach to nearly 700 mobile operators around the world. Subscribers of the North Asian mobile operators are now able to send and receive text messages from most corners of the world, opening up a vast potential SMS revenue stream for the North Asian operators and subscribers of their SMS services.
