Letao.com Plans To Build Largest Online Toy Store In China

September 18, 2008
Internet

One of China's largest online toy retailers Letao.com has announced that the company established partnerships with many international toy manufacturers to introduce thousands of new toy products to its online store.

According to Letao.com, the company has signed pacts with 15 international toy brands, including the German Simba Dickie Group; the U.S. Hasbro; the Japanese Tomy and Sega; the French Smoby; and the Swedish Vikingtoys. By cooperating with these international toy giants, Letao.com aims to bring more world quality toys to Chinese children and adults.

At present, over 1,200 kinds of toy products made by international manufacturers are sold in Letao.com and the number will continue to increase to over 10,000 by the end of 2008, according to the spokesperson of the company.

Lu Yinan, vice president in charge of the marketing department of Letao.com, told local media that although most toys are made in China, the toy market and culture have not been formed in the country. Because of many reasons, China did not previously have a good platform for the entry of international high-quality toys. However, Letao.com will fill this void with its model of high quality, genuine products, and low prices to make it possible for Chinese customers to enjoy fun brought by world-class toys.
