According to Hong Hanqing, general manager for BenQ's marketing department, the company's digital camera products will start to be sold in Gome from November 11 and it plans to occupy over a 10% market share in the Chinese mainland digital camera sector in the next two years.

Hong told local media that the company hopes its revenue in the Chinese mainland market can account for 50% of its total revenue in two years. At present, BenQ makes CNY3.5 billion in the Chinese mainland market, accounting for about 30% of the company's total global revenue.

Apart from the digital camera business, BenQ will also enhance its promotion strength in the TV sets market. At present, BenQ has achieved cooperation with RT-Mart and has completed distribution in 100 RT-Mart stores in eastern China. In the future, the two companies will jointly expand their businesses to northern and southern China.

In addition, BenQ will launch its small notebook product Joybook Lite in the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, and Taiwan in the second half of November 2008 and expects the sales of this small notebook can take 50% of the total sales of BenQ's notebook products in 2009.
