U-Tron (Beijing) And U.S.-Based Intelight Sign OEM Agreement

U.S.-based company to manufacture and market U-Tron LED lights under the Intelight brand name.

Beijing, China (August 06, 2009) /ChinaNewswire.com/ — U-Tron (Beijing) Electronics Co. Ltd. (U-Tron) announces today that it has signed an OEM agreement with the Tucson, Arizona-based electronics company Intelight. Under the terms of the agreement, Intelight will produce and distribute U-Tron licensed LED technology in the USA under the Intelight brand name.

The new Intelight products utilizing U-Tron LED technologies include: LED streetlights, Indoor and Outdoor floodlights, Traffic signal lights and solar powered LED lights.

Intelight is also empowered to enhance U-Tron products with its own communications and software technologies as well as add "bolt on" third party components.

After the signing ceremony Raja Magasweran, the managing director of U-Tron, said, "This is a major event for both our companies and Intelight is a perfect name for LED Luminaries. Craig Gardner, the founder of Intelight has excellent contacts throughout the public and private sector and now is the best time to tap into many energy and carbon footprint reduction programs in the LED Lighting fields."
