U.S.-based OSIsoft has opened a customer support center in Beijing.
The company has also named a new China country manager, Dennis Lin.
"In China, we now have an organizational infrastructure that will bring us closer to our customers," stated Bernard Morneau, president of OSIsoft. "We plan to accelerate the development of a local partner community, one that will benefit users in China by combining local industry and application knowledge with the capabilities of the PI System. OSIsoft has maintained a presence in China for more than 10 years. By localizing our products, hiring local professionals, and opening the Beijing Customer Support Center we have the tools to completely meet the needs of our customers in China."
