China Telecom has entered the South Korean market by establishing a new branch in the country, providing one-stop comprehensive information services to Chinese enterprises in South Korea.
Zeng Nantian, chairman for China Telecom South Korea, said that more and more Chinese enterprises are entering the South Korean market and expanding their businesses in the country. Zeng said China Telecom South Korea will provide various basic information services to these enterprises and will offer information consulting services to South Korean enterprises which want to explore the Chinese market.
Tan Xu, vice chairman for China Telecom Hong Kong, said at the unveiling ceremony that the founding of the South Korean subsidiary marks an important milestone for China Telecom's overseas expansion. According to Tan, the core value of China Telecom's overseas strategy is to develop the international market together with other Chinese companies.
With the establishment of this latest branch in Seoul, South Korea, China Telecom now has presence in ten countries and regions in Asia.
