An internal email from Nuomi.com, Baidu's group buying business, showed that Nuomi's vice president Bill Fu has been promoted to general manager.
In the new role, Fu will be responsible for Nuomi's businesses and he will report to Xiang Hailong, Baidu's senior vice president and president of its search company.
Fu graduated from Tianjin University and previously worked as executive director of Baidu and vice general manager of Nuomi.
At present, Fu is in charge of the management of Nuomi's sales system, business operation system, and vertical businesses like food and beverage.
In March 2017, Baidu announced an organizational optimization and management structure adjustment of Nuomi. At that time, Baidu's senior vice president and president of search company Xiang was appointed general manager of Nuomi.
