According to reports in Chinese local media, Didi Chuxing set up a subsidiary with registered capital of CNY10 million on February 21, 2019.

The new company's business range covers smart technologies, communications technologies, computer software and hardware, electronic product technology development, consulting and service, catering management, designated driving service, car cleaning, car rental, and used car.

Didi Chuxing revealed that the newly established company will focus on expanding business-end designated driving service to meet the demands for designated driving and value-added services of enterprise users.

The new subsidiary is wholly owned by Xiaoju Technology and its legal representative is Zhao Hui, who is also Didi Chuxing's general manager for designated driving business unit.
