According to information from State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, China Mobile has completed its construction and deployment of 5G trial network in Xiong'an New Area.

It is said that its 30 opened base stations have all accessed SA core network and users can directly visit the external network via 5G CPE terminals.

At present, Xiong'an New Area's 5G trial network has realized full coverage of citizen service centers, main roads, Baiyangdian Railway Station, and Beijing-Xiong'an high-speed rail construction area. The on-site download summit speed reaches 1Gbps, which can support the realization of technology applications like 4K/8K HD live, VR, autopilot, and cloud office.

The Xiong'an New Area 5G trial network is an important content of China Mobile's 5G scale network construction and application demonstration project. It was approved by National Development and Reform Commission of China in February 2018 and China Mobile has been effectively promoting the project despite of various difficulties. The company will continue to drive the realization of following demonstration applications.
