Shipments of 5G mobile phones in the Chinese market reached 266 million units in 2021, up 63.5% compared to shipments the previous year, local press reported, citing a report by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology. According to the report, shipments of 5G smartphones last year accounted for 75.9% of total mobile shipments during 2021.
