Kingsoft Made Net Losses Of CNY67.76 Million In Q1 2019

Kingsoft recently published its financial report for the first quarter of 2019, stating that the company realized operating revenue of CNY1.73 billion, a year-on-year increase of 37%; and it made net losses of CNY67.76 million.

According to the report, Kingsoft's online game business contributed 34% of its total revenue; its could service contributed 49%; and its office software contributed 17%.

During the reporting period, the company's online game revenue was CNY599.7 million, a year-on-year decrease of 5% and a decrease of 9% compared with the previous quarter. Its cloud service revenue reached CNY839.3 million, a year-on-year increase of 100% and an increase of 16% compared with the previous quarter. Its office software and service revenue and other revenue reached CNY287.6 million, a year-on-year increase of 35% and a decrease of 23% compared with the previous quarter.

In addition, Kingsoft's chairman Lei Jun revealed in the financial report that the company plans to launch JX3 mobile game in the second quarter of 2019. They will also launch WPS Office 2019 for Linux professional edition in March and WPS office for Mac edition in April.
