Chinese Internet company NetEase recently published its unaudited financial report for the second quarter of 2019, stating that its net income was CNY18.769 billion, which was about USD2.734 billion, a year-on-year increase of 15.3%; and its net profit was CNY3.071 billion, which was USD447 million, a year-on-year increase of 45.8%.

During the reporting period, NetEase's online game service revenue was CNY11.433 billion and mobile game revenue accounted for 72.2% of the total online game service revenue.

Its e-commerce revenue reached CNY5.247 billion, attributing to sales increase and procurement and operation efficiency improvement.

Meanwhile, NetEase's advertising service realized net revenue of CNY582 million. Due to sales decrease caused by severe competition and increases of labor costs and content purchase expense, the company's gross profit of advertising service saw a year-on-year decline.

In addition, the company's innovation and other businesses realized net revenue of CNY1.507 billion.
