Sina recently published its unaudited financial report for the second quarter of 2019, stating that the company's net operating revenue was USD533.1 million, a year-on-year decrease of 1%; and its net profit was USD51.4 million while it was USD35.1 million in the same period of last year.
The report showed that Sina's advertising operating revenue was USD433.6 million, a year-on-year decrease of 5%; and its non-advertising operating revenue was USD99.4 million, a year-on-year increase of 19%.
During the second quarter of 2019, Sina's operating expense was USD282.7 million, while the expense was USD294.7 million in the same period of last year. Meanwhile, its operating profit was USD126 million and its operating profit rate was 24%.
By June 30, 2019, Sina's cash, cash equivalents and short-term investments were USD2 billion.
