Chinese B2C e-commerce platform JD recently published its unaudited financial report for the third quarter of 2019, stating that based on non-GAAP, the company's net profit attributable to shareholders was CNY3.1 billion, a year-on-year increase of 160.6%; and its net operating revenue was CNY134.8 billion, a year-on-year increase of 28.7%.
According to the financial report, by September 30, 2019, JD's free cash flow increased to CNY15.6 billion, representing a significant increase compared with the previous quarter and the same period of last year.
At the same time, JD's third-party platform boasted over 250,000 signed vendors and the external business of JD Logistics Group continued a rapid expansion, serving over 200,000 enterprise clients.
With the rapid growth of marketing service, logistics service, and technical service, JD Group's net service revenue maintained a growth rate up to 47% compared with the same period of last year and its net service revenue accounted for 11.9% of its total net revenue.
By the end of the reporting period, JD Logistics had over 650 warehouses, including cloud warehouses managed by JD Logistics. Its total warehousing area reached about 16 million square meters.
By the end of the reporting period, JD Group had over 200,000 employees, a year-on-year increase of 25,000.
