ISLAMABAD — Pakistan’s Islamabad High Court on Aug. 7 asked Pakistan Telecommunication Authority to review the ongoing ban on Chinese application TikTok. As per a media report, Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Athar Minallah said the telecom authority has failed to justify blocking the video-sharing app. “The TikTok app is a source of income for the underprivileged,” the judgment noted and asked the telecom regulator to submit a report to the court on Aug. 23.
