Samsung and Micron warn that Xi’an blockade in China may be just reminiscent of chip manufacturing

Samsung Electronics and Micron Technology, two of the world’s largest reminiscent chipmakers, warned that a Covid-19 shutdown in the Chinese city of Xi’an could be their chip production base in the region. Micron said Wednesday that the block could lead to delays in the delivery of its DRAM memory chips, which are widely used in knowledge centers. He said the strict restrictions, which went into effect this month, can be difficult to mitigate and have led to relief in staff at his production site.
